Job Description:
This travel nursing assignment is for a Mother-Baby/Well Baby Nursery registered nurse caring for postpartum patients and newborns following vaginal and cesarean deliveries. You will support patients with conditions including magnesium therapy, gestational hypertension, and Bakri balloon management while working with a patient ratio of approximately 1:3 based on acuity and census. The role uses 12-hour day shifts, Epic documentation, and Pyxis medication administration. Floating may be required to like units within the same scope of practice, with weekend coverage typically every other weekend.
