Job Description:
Support surgical procedures by preparing instruments, supplies, equipment, and case carts before each operation. During procedures, provide the surgeon with the appropriate instruments and sterile supplies, assist with tissue retraction and equipment operation, and maintain aseptic technique throughout the case. You will also participate in surgical counts, specimen and sharps handling, operating room turnover, supply restocking, instrument preparation, and emergency call rotation. This assignment offers the opportunity to work across a range of operating room cases while staying organized and anticipating what is needed next.
