Job Description:
This travel assignment is for a Registered Nurse supporting an acute-care medical-surgical unit on 12-hour night shifts. The role has a strong focus on postoperative urology patients, including prostatectomies, cystectomies, nephrectomies, and related procedures, along with medical-surgical and postoperative overflow. You will care for patients with conditions such as sepsis, cellulitis, DVT/PE, CHF, COPD, pneumonia, and other complex needs. The assignment offers opportunities to build experience with wound management, JP drains, wound vacs, hemodialysis catheter care, fistulas, PCA and pain management, telemetry, and non-titratable cardiac drips. A blue rotation supports a predictable 4-days-one-week, 3-days-the-next schedule, with every-other-weekend rotation and no call.
