Job description
Job Description:
Provide medical-surgical nursing care to patients recovering from colorectal, gastrointestinal, genitourinary, and other high-turnover surgical procedures. This travel assignment includes centralized telemetry monitoring, ostomy and feeding-tube management, blood product administration, central and peripheral line care, PICC management, phlebotomy, IV starts, and medication management. You will care for patients with conditions including colon and bladder cancer, ostomies, colon resections, and medical overflow needs while documenting in Epic and working scheduled night shifts. Every other weekend is required, with no on-call responsibilities.
Weather:
Expect crisp, comfortable days with cool evenings, colorful foliage, and occasional rain. Layered clothing and a light jacket are useful for exploring the city between shifts.
