Job description
This travel contract is designed for an experienced Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse supporting a high-turnover surgical unit in St. Louis. You will care for patients with ostomies, colon and bladder conditions, colorectal procedures, GU concerns, and medical overflow needs. Responsibilities include telemetry monitoring, IV starts, phlebotomy, central line and PICC management, blood product administration, feeding tube and colostomy care, PCA and epidural management, and continuous bladder irrigation. The assignment includes 12-hour night shifts, every other weekend coverage, Epic documentation, and collaboration within the service line. A little extra rhythm comes with interpreting and managing dysrhythmias on centralized telemetry.
