Job Description:

This travel nursing assignment places an experienced Registered Nurse in a clinical decision observation setting supporting patients with minor and low-risk cardiac, neurological, respiratory, metabolic, and gastrointestinal conditions, along with post-procedure monitoring, cellulitis, and minor trauma. Patients typically stay fewer than 48 hours, creating a steady flow of admissions, discharges, and transfers. The role includes telemetry monitoring, rhythm interpretation, total patient care, and titration of medications such as heparin and amiodarone. Emergency department and medical-surgical experience is preferred. Nurses should hold ACLS and BLS certifications and be prepared to work weekends, including every other weekend, with possible floating to the emergency department or medical-surgical service when needed.
