Job description
This 13-week travel assignment is for a Registered Nurse supporting a 36-bed general medical-surgical unit in Medford, Oregon. You will care for adult patients with conditions including gastrointestinal illness, pneumonia, cellulitis, renal disease, CHF, diabetes, alcohol withdrawal, electrolyte imbalances, infectious illnesses, and medical complaints requiring behavioral health support. The night shift includes remote telemetry monitoring, occasional titration of heparin or Cardizem, and care involving chest tubes, NG or feeding tubes, and varied oxygen needs. Teamwork, bedside report, and hourly rounding are central to the assignment, with opportunities to float within the medical-surgical skill set as department needs require.
