Job Description:
Join a travel assignment caring for adult patients in a 16-bed emergency department observation unit. As a Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse, you will care for patients whose hospital stay is expected to last less than two midnights, including those being evaluated for acute coronary syndrome, mild trauma, cellulitis requiring IV antibiotics, stroke, head bleeds, and respiratory infections. You will provide telemetry monitoring, perform EKGs, start IVs, and complete phlebotomy services while working a consistent three-night schedule. ACLS certification is required, telemetry experience is preferred, and first-time travelers are welcome.
