Job description
Join our team for a 13-week travel MRI tech position at Chippenham Hospital in Richmond, VA. This role offers the chance to work in the hospital’s Radiology Department on the first floor, primarily focusing on MRI scans using GE 450W 1.5 T equipment. You’ll be responsible for performing brain, spine, ortho, body, abdominal, and cardiac procedures, ensuring high-quality imaging during 12-hour day shifts. The work involves a mix of routine protocols and specialty imaging, providing an engaging variety of cases. If you have experience with GE equipment and hold a VA license along with BLS certification, this role is a perfect fit. The schedule includes a weekend call rotation once a month and two weeknights of call, typically from 11 pm to 6 am. This assignment is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated MRI technologist looking to bring their skills to a vibrant healthcare environment that values precision and patient comfort.
