Registered Nurse Job Details

• Location: Bridgeport, West Virginia
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,340–$2,460 per week
• Assignment: 13-week Registered Nurse contract
• Start Date: November 23, 2026
• Department: Med/Surg Tele Float Pool
• Schedule: 3 shifts per week
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week
• Patient Ratios: Typically 1:5–6 on days and nights, with occasional assignments of up to 7 patients depending on acuity and staffing needs

Med/Surg Tele RN Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in West Virginia
• At least 1 year of recent registered nursing experience, preferably in medical-surgical nursing and/or telemetry care
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current NIHSS certification
• Ability to work independently and adapt to assignments across multiple medical-surgical and telemetry units
• Due to a 50-mile radius rule, submissions must include a copy of an unexpired driver's license

Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Float between assigned units while maintaining safe, organized, and patient-centered care
• Perform nursing assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, clinical status, and responses to treatment
• Administer medications and treatments safely in accordance with established standards and protocols
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing colleagues, and the interdisciplinary care team
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, medications, and discharge needs
• Document patient care accurately and communicate changes in condition promptly
