Sleep Technologist Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,420–$1,530
• Location: Hamilton Township, New Jersey
• Healthcare Setting: On-site sleep diagnostics environment
• Schedule: 36 hours per week; three 12-hour shifts
• Shift Duration: 12 hours
• Shifts per Week: 3
• Shift Timing: Overnight schedule
• On-Call: None
• Start Date: November 23, 2026
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks

Sleep Technologist Job Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience as a Sleep Technologist or in a closely related EEG, polysomnography, or sleep diagnostics role
• Expertise in sleep study scoring, processing, and documentation
• Current CPR certification
• Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) certification
• New Jersey polysomnography license in hand
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate, quality-focused patient care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and contribute positively as part of a collaborative sleep diagnostics team

Sleep Technologist Responsibilities

• Score and process sleep study records accurately and efficiently
• Perform and support Multiple Sleep Latency Tests (MSLT)
• Perform and support Maintenance of Wakefulness Tests (MWT)
• Process and score polysomnography (PSG) studies
• Support positive airway pressure (PAP) studies and related sleep diagnostic procedures
• Process home sleep apnea testing (HSAT) studies
• Maintain thorough clinical documentation and uphold established quality standards
• Communicate effectively with colleagues while supporting a collaborative patient-care environment
