Travel RN Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,360–$2,480
• Location: Cleveland, Ohio
• Employment Type: Travel nursing contract
• Start Date: November 20, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shifts per Week: 3
• Shift Duration: 12-hour rotating shifts
• Schedule: Rotating days and nights; approximately 7:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m. or 7:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m.
• Scheduling Note: Shift assignments may vary based on operational needs. Holiday coverage is required at least every other holiday.

Med/Surg Telemetry RN Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse license in Ohio or an active compact-state license in hand
• At least 1 year of recent permanent experience in medical-surgical telemetry nursing
• Active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Ability to recognize and interpret ECG rhythms
• Recent professional reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty
• Strong communication, prioritization, clinical judgment, and teamwork skills
• Successful completion of required screening, orientation, and competency assessments

Travel Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide safe, evidence-based nursing care to adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, assess for changes in patient condition, and escalate concerns promptly
• Administer medications and treatments, complete thorough assessments, and document care accurately
• Collaborate with providers and the interdisciplinary care team to coordinate individualized treatment plans
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, procedures, and discharge needs
• Float to other units, including comparable medical-surgical or emergency care areas, when operationally required and within scope of practice
• Complete ECG rhythm recognition and medication-safety assessments during orientation
• Support unit operations through effective handoff communication, timely documentation, and adherence to safety standards
