Medical Assistant Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $860–$920
• Location: Pottstown, Pennsylvania 19464
• Healthcare Setting: On-site outpatient endocrinology practice
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:45 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Start Date: November 23, 2026
• Assignment: 16-week temporary assignment with potential for permanent hire
• Attire: Maroon or burgundy scrubs
• Training: Electronic medical record (EMR) training and a brief HIPAA training module will be provided before or at the beginning of the assignment

Certified Medical Assistant Job Requirements

• At least 18 months of Medical Assistant experience
• Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential or applicable Medical Assistant qualifications
• Endocrinology or outpatient healthcare experience preferred
• EPIC or other electronic medical record (EMR) experience is a plus
• Strong communication, organization, and patient-service skills
• Ability to work on-site during scheduled weekday hours
• Willingness to complete required onboarding, compliance, medical screening, and HIPAA training
• Interest in transitioning to a permanent staff position following the temporary assignment

Endocrinology Medical Assistant Responsibilities

• Room patients and prepare them for endocrinology visits
• Support the endocrinology provider with daily clinical workflow and patient care activities
• Assist with medication prior authorizations
• Communicate with patients regarding appointments, questions, and care needs
• Accurately document patient information and clinical activities in the electronic medical record
• Help maintain an organized, efficient, and patient-centered outpatient clinic environment
