Travel CT Technologist Job Details

• Schedule: 3 shifts per week, Thursday through Saturday
• Shift: 12-hour nights, approximately 6:30 p.m.–7:00 a.m.
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Holiday Expectations: Work two major holidays—Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year’s Day—and one minor holiday—the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year’s Eve.

CT Technologist Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent CT Technologist or computed tomography experience
• ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Proficiency operating Siemens CT scanners
• Ability to work independently during overnight shifts and provide safe, patient-centered care

CT Technologist Responsibilities

• Operate computerized tomography equipment to acquire high-quality diagnostic images
• Perform trauma, stroke, cardiovascular, procedural, and routine CT scans
• Provide diagnostic imaging services for emergency, inpatient, and outpatient populations
• Adapt CT imaging techniques and patient care practices for neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
• Verify patient identification, exam orders, and clinical history before procedures
• Maintain radiation safety standards and follow department protocols for image quality and patient protection
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, providers, and other members of the healthcare team
