Med/Surg RN Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure required
• At least 1 year of professional nursing experience, preferably in a medical-surgical or Med/Surg setting
• Ability to work three 12-hour overnight shifts each week
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills
• Commitment to safe, compassionate, and patient-centered care

Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a Med/Surg setting during overnight shifts
• Assess patient conditions, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate outcomes
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Monitor patients for changes in condition and promptly communicate concerns to the appropriate members of the care team
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in accordance with clinical standards
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing colleagues, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to support positive patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families regarding care plans, treatment, and discharge needs
