Travel Nursing Job Details

• Location: Martinsburg, West Virginia
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,110–$2,220
• Assignment: 13-week travel nursing contract
• Start Date: October 29, 2026
• Shift: Night shift, 7:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m.
• Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 12-hour shifts
• Weekend/Holiday Requirement: Every other weekend and rotating holidays
• Healthcare Setting: 20-bed acute-care telemetry unit
• Charting System: EPIC
• Call: No on-call requirement

Travel Telemetry RN Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in West Virginia
• At least 5 years of professional RN experience
• At least 1 year of recent travel nursing experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
• Current NIHSS certification
• Demonstrated knowledge of cardiac monitoring, basic dysrhythmia recognition, and telemetry strip verification
• Ability to provide care for medical-surgical, post-catheterization, telemetry, and respiratory patients
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to float to a comparable or lower-acuity unit when needed

Travel Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to telemetry patients in a 20-bed acute-care unit
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, recognize changes in patient condition, and communicate findings appropriately
• Care for patients with medical-surgical conditions, post-catheterization needs, telemetry monitoring requirements, and respiratory difficulties
• Administer medications, including reconstituted antibiotics and titratable therapies within scope and unit guidelines
• Perform patient assessments, IV insertion, blood glucose testing, medication administration, and clinical documentation in EPIC
• Collaborate with hospitalists, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, patient care technicians, and other members of the care team
• Support safe admissions, discharges, transfers, mobility, comfort, and patient education
• Float to comparable telemetry or medical-surgical assignments, including supporting boarded patients when necessary
• Participate in precepting or charge responsibilities when comfortable and when unit needs require
