CNA Travel Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $550–$590
• Location: Cleveland, Ohio—a welcoming urban area with cultural attractions, diverse dining, and convenient amenities
• Assignment Type: 13-week travel contract
• Anticipated Start Date: November 16, 2026
• Schedule: 40 hours per week
• Shift: 8-hour overnight shifts, 11:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m.
• Shifts: Five overnight shifts per week
• Work Setting: Hospital surgical services and perioperative care

Certified Nursing Assistant Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of combined permanent experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), in surgical support, or in a closely related healthcare specialty
• Active Ohio license or compact license in hand at the time of submission, as applicable to the role
• Active, in-hand credentials required for the assignment; surgical services certification or perioperative support experience is strongly preferred
• Ability to provide a recent professional reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director
• Successful completion of required background screening, health screening, drug screening, and facility orientation requirements
• Ability to complete required orientation assessments and achieve passing scores
• Strong communication, teamwork, organization, patient-care, and patient-safety skills

Surgical Services CNA Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate assistance to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures under the direction of licensed clinical staff
• Support patient transport, positioning, transfers, and safe movement throughout the hospital surgical services department
• Assist with preparation and turnover of procedure areas while following infection-prevention and perioperative safety protocols
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and appropriate stocking of surgical supplies and equipment
• Observe patients for changes in condition and promptly communicate concerns to the appropriate clinical team member
• Follow hospital policies, protect patient privacy, and accurately complete assigned documentation
• Collaborate with nurses, surgical technologists, providers, and other members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support efficient patient flow
