• Location: Mount Vernon, IL 62864
• Start Date: 10/26/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Night shift, 3 x 12-hour shifts (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,730-$1,860
• Weekend Coverage: Rotating weekends and holidays
• Orientation: 36 hours
• Charting System: Epic experience required

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience required
• Active state Respiratory Therapist license required
• Current BLS, NRP, and RRT credentials required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Adult ICU and ventilator management experience required
• Prior travel respiratory therapy experience required
• Experience with advanced respiratory equipment and high-acuity patient care preferred
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holiday rotations

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care to neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients
• Support ICU-level care, ventilator management, and respiratory diagnostics
• Assist with high-risk deliveries and neonatal respiratory support
• Perform and interpret ABGs, airway support, suctioning, and aerosol therapy
• Manage therapies such as CPAP, BiPAP, HFNC, and mechanical ventilation as ordered
• Work with a variety of respiratory equipment, including Hamilton and Puritan Bennett ventilators
• Document patient care accurately in Epic and collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Respond to changing patient needs with professionalism, flexibility, and strong clinical judgment
