Job Description:
This 13-week travel assignment is for an experienced ICU registered nurse providing critical care to patients with strokes, head bleeds, ventriculostomies, EVDs, dialysis needs, and other complex neurological disorders. The role includes caring for critically ill patients, titrating medications such as Levophed, phenylephrine, Versed, paralytics, heparin, insulin, and nicardipine, and working night shifts with 24/7 advanced practice provider coverage. Nurses should be prepared for a structured 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. schedule, required weekend and holiday coverage, and a collaborative critical care setting. BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
