Job description
This travel contract is designed for an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse supporting a Level IV trauma center in South Charleston. You will care for infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients with medical, surgical, cardiac, respiratory, overdose, sepsis, stroke, STEMI, and trauma needs. The assignment includes exposure to critical drips, ventilated patients, BiPAP and CPAP, dysrhythmias, sedation, paralytics, and TPA. The emergency department includes dedicated triage, fast-track, trauma and code rooms, and psychiatric/seclusion rooms. Night-shift nurses work alongside emergency physicians, mid-level providers, house supervisors, emergency technicians, and respiratory therapy support. Block scheduling may be available, with every-other-weekend coverage and rotating holidays.
