Job Description:

This travel healthcare contract is designed for a Registered Nurse supporting pre-admission testing and perioperative care in Morristown, New Jersey. The assignment includes completing thorough assessments, reviewing testing orders, preparing patients for surgical procedures, and providing pre-operative and post-operative education. You will document accurately, monitor patient understanding and response to instructions, and help coordinate safe care across the surgical continuum. Familiarity with surgical diagnoses, procedures, anesthesia considerations, emergency equipment, and age-appropriate care from pediatric through geriatric populations is important. Flexibility to float as needed across related critical care, recovery, and step-down areas is required.
