Job description
This 13-week travel assignment is for a Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse supporting orthopedic and trauma patients in a fast-paced acute-care setting. You will care for patients recovering from joint replacements, fractures, trauma, oncology-related orthopedic procedures, and other complex cases. Responsibilities include post-operative mobility support, drains, PCA and epidural monitoring, education, phlebotomy, IV starts, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, and use of specialized mobility precautions. The assignment uses EPIC and welcomes first-time travelers with the required experience.
