Job Description:

This 13-week travel healthcare contract is designed for an experienced Infection Prevention professional supporting an acute inpatient rehabilitation service line across Rockville and White Oak. You will independently conduct infection surveillance, investigate outbreaks, monitor healthcare-associated infections, support isolation precautions, maintain reporting processes, and advise clinical, operational, physician, and executive leaders. The role includes participation in infection prevention committees, regulatory readiness activities, education, policy review, and communicable disease reporting. An active CIC certification and at least five years of acute-care Infection Prevention experience are required. Occasional travel between sites may be needed for urgent or emergent needs.
