Job Description:
Join a surgical services team as a perioperative RN supporting four operating rooms and one endoscopy suite. You will care for patients across a broad case mix, including cataracts, endoscopy, pediatric and adult ENT, urology, orthopedics, spine, gynecology, and robotics. Scrubbing experience and acute hospital experience are required, along with pediatric and spine experience. The assignment includes varied 8-, 9-, 10-, and 12-hour shifts, with schedules that may combine 12-hour, 10-hour, and mixed shifts during the same week. Most shifts end by early evening, and travelers rarely take call because permanent staff provide coverage. You may float to PACU, pre-op, or other same-day surgery areas. BLS and flexibility for a full 40-hour week are required.
