You may float to med-surg, with telemetry as the priority, and assist the emergency department with admission holds only. The assignment offers 12-hour night shifts, every-other-weekend coverage, and holiday coverage as needed. Nurses with ICU experience, ACLS/BLS, and NIHSS certification are preferred; experience with stroke thrombolytic therapy, withdrawal management, or BMT patients is helpful. Bring your critical-care skills—and your night-shift stamina.
