Job description
Join a travel nursing assignment in a Level 2 Special Care Nursery supporting newborns with respiratory distress, hypoglycemia, sepsis, withdrawal symptoms, and feeding or growth needs. You will care for infants receiving phototherapy, bubble CPAP, high-flow therapy, or other respiratory support; attend deliveries as the baby nurse; assist with umbilical line placement and maintenance; start and maintain IVs; titrate D5W and TPN; and transfer infants to a higher level of care when needed. Because the nursery and postpartum areas share one department, you may flex to a postpartum assignment caring for up to three mother-baby couplets when the newborn census is low. Block scheduling, supplied scrubs, and three nights of staff orientation are included.

The Burien area typically offers cool, comfortable days with a mix of cloud cover, light rain, and occasional breaks of sunshine. Layers and a waterproof jacket are useful for exploring nearby neighborhoods and outdoor attractions.
