Job Description:
Provide direct patient care as a Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse on a fast-paced inpatient surgical overflow unit in Fishersville, Virginia. This 13-week travel contract features three 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., with every other weekend required. You will care for patients undergoing general, abdominal, urological, orthopedic, spine, bariatric, hysterectomy, and mastectomy procedures, with pediatric surgical patients age 12 and older accepted depending on the procedure. Previous surgical experience and at least two years of experience are required. Floating to other units may be expected, and block scheduling cannot be guaranteed. BLS certification is required.
