Job description
Job Description:
Join a 13-week travel assignment as a Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse supporting adults age 55 and older with geriatric trauma and acute care needs. You will care for patients arriving from the emergency department, operating room, or intensive care unit, including those affected by motor vehicle accidents, falls, abuse or violence, traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, orthopedic trauma, burns, wounds, and acute surgical conditions. The role includes caring for patients with complex needs such as chest tubes, wound vacs, traction, external fixators, peripheral nerve block catheters, CPAP or BiPAP, and high-flow nasal cannula. Nurses should be comfortable interpreting and managing dysrhythmias and administering blood products, insulin, and PCA medications.
