What You’ll Do

• Implement individualized treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist.

• Provide skilled therapy interventions to help patients improve mobility, strength, function, and independence.

• Monitor patient responses and progress, communicating updates to the supervising PT.

• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.

• Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare team members.

• Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to support coordinated patient care.

• Assist with developing and improving therapy programs.

• Contribute to the efficient operation of the therapy department.

• Maintain professional standards and follow applicable clinical guidelines and procedures.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.

• Current Iowa Physical Therapist Assistant license or eligibility for licensure.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

• Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.
