CT Technologist Job Details

• Location: Roundup, Montana
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,030–$2,190
• Start Date: October 30, 2026
• Travel Assignment Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week; variable day shifts
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Call Requirement: Call coverage is required, including select weeknights and weekends
• Healthcare Setting: Hospital-based acute care and diagnostic imaging
• Equipment and Systems: GE CT scanner with Bracco dual injector, Konica Minolta portable X-ray, AGFA core X-ray, and Cerner charting

CT/X-Ray Technologist Job Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist, X-ray Technologist, or CT/X-ray Technologist
• ARRT certification in Radiography (R)
• Demonstrated ability to perform CT examinations independently
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Active Montana state license or eligibility to obtain a Montana license
• Experience with GE CT equipment and Cerner is preferred
• Ability to work variable 12-hour day shifts and participate in required call coverage

CT Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform CT examinations independently and accurately in accordance with established protocols
• Provide general radiography services as needed within the hospital setting
• Operate CT and X-ray equipment safely and efficiently
• Administer contrast media according to applicable policies, procedures, and scope of practice
• Review imaging requests, verify patient information, and ensure appropriate exam preparation
• Monitor patients throughout procedures and respond appropriately to clinical needs
• Document procedures and patient care accurately in the electronic medical record
• Provide dependable call coverage for weeknights, weekends, and applicable holidays
• Collaborate with nurses, providers, and other members of the care team to support timely diagnostic imaging
