In this onsite hospital role, you will help with daily food preparation, dishwashing, sanitation, and food service operations. Food Service Job Details

• Location: Akron, Ohio
• Healthcare Setting: Onsite hospital dietary, food service, and kitchen operations
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $490–$530
• Schedule: Full-time, approximately 40 hours per week
• Shift: 8-hour day shifts with variable scheduling between 6:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.
• Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend
• Assignment: Approximately 32 weeks, beginning November 16, 2026, with potential temp-to-hire opportunity
• Openings: 4

Food Service Worker Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 1 year of relevant food service, dishwasher, kitchen, or sanitation experience preferred
• Food and Nutrition Services training or certification, as applicable
• Ability to work onsite in a fast-paced hospital kitchen and healthcare food service environment
• Ability to stand for extended periods and maintain reliable attendance
• Availability for variable scheduling and every-other-weekend coverage
• Willingness to follow applicable food safety, sanitation, and workplace health requirements

Hospital Dietary Services Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, trays, kitchen equipment, and food service areas
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary hospital kitchen and work environment
• Follow established sanitation procedures and food safety guidelines
• Support the dietary and kitchen team with daily food preparation, meal service, and food delivery operations
• Operate dishwashing and kitchen equipment safely and appropriately
• Work efficiently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness in a healthcare setting
