Travel CT Technologist Job Details

• Position Type: Travel contract
• Location: Northampton, Massachusetts
• Department: CT Scan within Radiology
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,600–$2,790
• Start Date: November 22, 2026
• Assignment End Date: February 20, 2027
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift Duration: 10-hour night shifts
• Schedule: Thursday through Saturday; posted shift window of 9:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.
• Hours: 36 guaranteed hours per week; position listed at approximately 40 hours per week

CT Technologist Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist or Radiologic Technologist in a hospital imaging department
• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or diploma from an accredited radiology program
• Current Massachusetts license to practice as a radiologic technologist
• Current registration or certification as a Radiologic Technologist in CT
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification
• Experience with Epic electronic medical records and Siemens CT imaging equipment
• Ability to work night shifts and the assigned Thursday-through-Saturday schedule

CT Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform CT examinations in accordance with department protocols and established standards of care
• Operate Siemens CT equipment safely and effectively
• Review imaging orders, verify patient information, and prepare patients for CT procedures
• Obtain diagnostic-quality computed tomography images while prioritizing patient safety, comfort, and privacy
• Document CT procedures and imaging information accurately in Epic
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, technologists, and other members of the healthcare team
• Follow organizational, departmental, and radiation-safety policies and procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized, and properly functioning CT imaging environment
