Travel Nursing Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,360–$2,480
• Location: Cleveland, Ohio
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: November 20, 2026
• End Date: February 19, 2027
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shift Duration: 12-hour rotating shifts
• Shift Schedule: Day shifts approximately 7:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m. and night shifts approximately 7:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m.; schedule may rotate based on operational needs
• Orientation: 16 hours
• Holiday Coverage: Travelers are expected to work at least every other holiday

Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio or an active compact-state license in hand at the time of submission
• At least 1 year of permanent experience in Med/Surg Tele nursing
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications from an accepted provider
• Demonstrated experience caring for medical-surgical and telemetry patient populations
• Ability to care for patients who may require ventilator support
• Active certifications and required credentials must be in hand; pending certifications are not accepted
• One recent professional reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty is required
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and medication-safety assessments during orientation, with a maximum of two attempts

Travel RN Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, recognize changes in patient condition, and respond promptly to clinical needs
• Administer medications and treatments safely while following established standards of care
• Collaborate with providers and the interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Care for patients with complex medical conditions, including patients who may require ventilator support
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in the electronic medical record
• Remain flexible to float to related units or the emergency department when needed to care for patients with comparable needs
• Participate in required orientation, competency validation, and pre-start learning modules
