Radiologic Technologist Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,900–$2,040
• Location: Davenport, Iowa
• Healthcare Setting: Diagnostic radiology and medical imaging
• Assignment Type: 13-week on-site travel contract
• Start Date: November 23, 2026
• End Date: February 21, 2027
• Schedule: 40 hours per week; 8-hour day shifts, approximately 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
• Additional Scheduling: Every other weekend and holidays as needed

Radiologic Technologist Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist, Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech), or in diagnostic imaging
• ARRT certification is required
• Current radiologic technologist license or certification as required by the state
• Ability to work on-site in a diagnostic radiology setting
• Strong patient-care, communication, and teamwork skills
• Ability to support occasional weekend and holiday coverage as scheduled

Radiologic Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations safely and accurately
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explain examination steps, and promote patient comfort
• Operate radiology equipment and produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Verify patient information and exam orders while maintaining accurate imaging documentation
• Apply radiation safety principles and follow established diagnostic imaging protocols
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient radiology department and imaging environment
