Job description
Job Description:
This travel assignment is for a Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse supporting patients with neurological conditions, seizure disorders, spinal procedures, and other complex medical-surgical needs. The unit includes telemetry, step-down, bariatric, and neuro-monitoring areas, offering a varied clinical experience. Nurses work three 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., every other weekend, with occasional floating to other medical-surgical areas, intensive care areas, or emergency department waiting rooms. Experience with EPIC and Pyxis is used in daily workflow.
Weather:
Expect cool, crisp conditions with changing temperatures, a mix of sunny and cloudy days, and occasional rain. Comfortable layers and a light waterproof jacket are useful for exploring Kalamazoo and the surrounding area.
