• Job Title: CVOR Surgical Technologist / Cardiovascular Operating Room Technician
• Location: Rockford, Illinois
• Assignment Type: 13-week travel assignment
• Start Date: November 23, 2026
• Assignment End Date: February 20, 2027
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,890–$2,030
• Schedule: 10-hour day shifts, approximately 6:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Call Coverage: Rotational call coverage, including occasional 24-hour Saturday or Sunday weekend call
• Work Setting: On-site cardiovascular operating room
• Openings: 1

CVOR Surgical Technologist Requirements

• At least 2 years of recent experience in a similar cardiovascular operating room or CVOR setting
• Certification as a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Technician or Surgical Technologist
• Demonstrated proficiency supporting a CVOR heart team
• Ability to scrub independently for cardiovascular surgical procedures
• Ability to participate in rotational call coverage
• Applicants must reside more than 50 miles from the assignment location

CVOR Surgical Technologist Responsibilities

• Scrub independently for cardiovascular and other operating room procedures
• Prepare and maintain the sterile field, instruments, supplies, and equipment for assigned surgical cases
• Anticipate the needs of surgeons and the CVOR heart team throughout procedures
• Support safe, efficient operating room workflow before, during, and after surgery
• Maintain compliance with infection prevention, sterile technique, and operating room safety standards
• Participate in scheduled rotational call coverage, including applicable weekend call
