Join an on-site hospital laboratory in Woodruff, Wisconsin, as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT), Medical Technologist (MT), or Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) on a 13-week travel contract. Clinical Laboratory Job Details

• Location: Woodruff, Wisconsin
• Healthcare Setting: On-site hospital laboratory
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: November 2, 2026
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,670-$1,800
• Schedule: Approximately 40 hours per week; biweekly guaranteed hours apply
• Shift Duration: 10-hour night shifts, with flexibility for 8-, 10-, or 12-hour day, evening, or night shifts required
• Additional Scheduling: Occasional weekends and holidays, including an every-other-holiday rotation
• Work Environment: Generalist clinical laboratory role with potential prescheduled float assignments to nearby affiliated facilities

Medical Laboratory Technician and Medical Technologist Requirements

• At least 1 year of recent core laboratory experience
• Current MLT, MT, or CLS qualification
• Associate degree or approved laboratory certificate required; bachelor’s degree preferred
• Experience working in blood bank and performing phlebotomy
• Ability to work independently, adapt to changing priorities, and support multiple areas of the hospital laboratory
• ASCP certification preferred but not required
• Flexibility to work variable shifts, weekends, holidays, and occasional float assignments

Medical Laboratory Responsibilities

• Perform generalist laboratory testing across core clinical laboratory departments
• Complete blood bank testing and related procedures accurately and efficiently
• Perform phlebotomy and collect high-quality patient specimens
• Process, analyze, and report laboratory results in accordance with established procedures
• Document laboratory activities using Epic, Meditech, and Beaker systems
• Maintain accurate records while following laboratory quality, safety, and compliance standards
• Collaborate with clinical teams to support timely patient diagnosis and treatment
• Float to nearby affiliated laboratory locations when scheduled and help maintain continuity of service during changing census needs
