Job Description:
Join a Labor and Delivery team in Mount Vernon, Illinois, supporting LDRP, nursery, antepartum, gynecology, and newborn care. This travel contract is designed for an experienced Registered Nurse with at least two years of Labor and Delivery experience. You will care for patients during labor, inductions, cesarean births, and antepartum stays while supporting newborn admissions and routine nursery procedures. Responsibilities may include circumcisions, hearing and newborn screenings, triage, circulating, and scrubbing. Level 2 nursery experience is preferred, and EPIC experience is a plus. The night schedule offers 12-hour shifts with no call requirement, along with scheduled Friday, Saturday, and Sunday shifts during each four-week schedule. A little flexibility goes a long way on this assignment.
