Job Description:
Provide specialized care to critically ill patients as a travel registered nurse in a short-term acute care setting in New Haven. This assignment offers winter coverage with 12-hour day shifts, caring for an average assignment of three patients. Responsibilities include monitoring complex conditions, coordinating care, responding to changing patient needs, and floating to PCU or other intensive care units as needed. Weekend coverage every other weekend is required, with no call. ACLS and BLS are required, and first-time travelers are welcome.
