Job description
Job Description:
This travel assignment is for a PACU Registered Nurse supporting patients recovering from procedures in a short-stay setting. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate post-procedure care; document in the electronic health record; and coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team. Cases may include colonoscopies, EGDs, general, orthopedic, OB/GYN, ENT, and urology procedures, along with cardioversions and nerve blocks. The schedule offers daytime hours, with call coverage required every third or fourth night and weekend. EPIC experience is preferred, and PALS, BLS, and ACLS certifications are required. The mix of procedures provides plenty of variety—no two recovery days need to look exactly alike.
