Job description
Job Description:
Support diagnostic imaging across inpatient, outpatient, orthopedic, operating room, fluoroscopy, portable, and C-arm settings during a 13-week travel assignment in Cambridge. This role includes floating to other nearby sites when needed, with no more than one site in a day. Weekly schedules are posted four weeks in advance and may include 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts, including weekends. Experience with operating room imaging and adaptability across different X-ray equipment vendors are important for success—one assignment, several imaging settings.
Weather:
Expect crisp, cool air, colorful foliage, comfortable daytime temperatures, and colder evenings. Occasional rain is possible, so a light jacket and weather-ready footwear are useful for exploring the area.
Fun Things To Do:
- History & Culture: Walk the Freedom Trail and explore historic sites throughout Boston.
- Waterfront Escape: Spend an afternoon along the Boston Harborwalk and visit the New England Aquarium.
- Day Trip—Salem: Visit museums, historic neighborhoods, and waterfront attractions in Salem.
- Day Trip—Cape Ann: Explore the coastal towns, galleries, and shoreline views of Gloucester and Rockport.
- City Outdoors: Enjoy the paths, gardens, and skyline views along the Charles River Esplanade.
