Emergency Medicine Physician Requirements

• Medical physician with at least 1 year of emergency medicine experience
• Active American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM) certification required
• Current credentials and qualifications appropriate for emergency department practice
• Ability to provide compassionate, efficient care in a fast-paced emergency department

Emergency Medicine Physician Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with urgent and emergent medical conditions
• Perform focused patient histories and physical examinations and develop appropriate treatment plans
• Manage a broad range of emergency medicine cases while prioritizing patient safety
• Collaborate with nursing, ancillary, and specialty teams to coordinate patient care
• Document clinical findings, diagnoses, treatments, and patient dispositions accurately
• Provide clear communication and compassionate support to patients and their families
