Travel Nursing Job Details

Interventional Radiology RN Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in New Jersey or a valid compact-state RN license in hand at the time of submission
• At least 1 year of registered nursing experience; Interventional Radiology, procedural nursing, or a closely related specialty is preferred
• Availability to work five 8-hour day shifts each week
• Travel assignment eligibility; candidates residing within a 50-mile radius are not eligible
• All requested time off must be disclosed when submitting for the assignment
• Ability to complete required onboarding items and laboratory requirements within 48 hours of contract signing
• Strong patient assessment, communication, organization, clinical documentation, and patient-safety skills

Interventional Radiology Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to patients undergoing Interventional Radiology procedures
• Complete pre-procedure and post-procedure assessments and monitor patients throughout their care experience
• Prepare patients, equipment, and supplies for scheduled procedures
• Administer medications and treatments according to orders, policies, and professional nursing standards
• Recognize changes in patient condition and respond promptly to complications or emergencies
• Collaborate with radiologists, procedural staff, anesthesia professionals, and other members of the healthcare team
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and support continuity of patient care
• Promote infection prevention, procedural safety, and a positive patient experience
