CVOR / Cath Lab Registered Nurse – Travel Nursing Job in Appleton, WI

Join a specialized cardiovascular procedural team as a Travel Registered Nurse in Appleton, Wisconsin. This 16-week travel nursing assignment offers the opportunity to support advanced cardiac, vascular, electrophysiology, interventional radiology, and structural heart procedures in a collaborative procedural environment. Travel RN Job Details

• Location: Appleton, Wisconsin
• Assignment Type: Travel nursing contract
• Contract Length: 16 weeks
• Start Date: November 23, 2026
• Schedule: 8-hour variable day shifts, with start times typically at 6:30 a.m. or 7:30 a.m.
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $3,000-$3,160
• Call Requirements: At least one call shift per week; weekends and holidays as needed based on procedural volume
• Call Response: 30-minute response time
• Orientation: 8 hours
• Additional Scheduling: Missed shifts may need to be made up within two weeks. Floating may occur within the Registered Nurse’s qualified skill set.

CVOR and Cath Lab RN Requirements

• Active Wisconsin Registered Nurse license
• At least 3 years of Registered Nurse experience in a cath lab, CVOR, or comparable cardiovascular procedural setting
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification
• Current American Heart Association ACLS certification
• Associate degree in nursing or an applicable nursing certificate
• Demonstrated scrub experience is required for consideration
• Experience circulating interventional radiology, cardiac catheterization, and structural heart procedures
• Ability to participate in call, weekend, and holiday coverage

Cardiovascular Procedural Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide safe, evidence-based nursing care throughout cardiovascular and interventional procedures.
• Scrub and circulate for cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology, interventional radiology, vascular, and structural heart cases.
• Prepare patients, equipment, procedural rooms, and supplies before each case.
• Monitor patients during procedures and respond promptly to changes in clinical condition.
• Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia providers, technologists, and the interdisciplinary procedural team.
• Maintain accurate documentation and support post-procedure recovery and handoff.
• Participate in scheduled call coverage, including weekend and holiday coverage as needed.
• Float to other qualified procedural areas when operational needs require.
