MRI Technologist Travel Job Details

• Location: York, Pennsylvania
• Assignment Type: 13-week travel contract
• Start Date: November 16, 2026
• End Date: February 15, 2027
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,070–$2,220
• Schedule: Three 12-hour day shifts per week
• Typical Hours: Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m.; Monday, 9:00 a.m.–9:00 p.m.
• Weekend Requirement: Every weekend
• Call: Not required
• Floating: Not applicable
• Holiday Requirement: Work may be required for designated holidays during the assignment; travelers should be prepared to work two of three holiday periods when applicable.

MRI Technologist Job Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist or MRI Tech required
• Current ARMRIT certification required
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Prior experience operating GE MRI equipment required
• EPIC experience required
• Ability to work independently in a hospital imaging and diagnostic services environment
• Ability to care for patients with a variety of medical conditions, including patients who may have COVID-19
• Willingness to work in a tobacco-free and fragrance-free clinical environment
• Up to 7 days of requested time off preferred

Travel MRI Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations according to established imaging protocols and patient safety standards
• Screen patients for MRI safety risks, contraindications, implants, and relevant medical history
• Prepare, position, and monitor patients throughout MRI procedures
• Operate GE MRI equipment and ensure high-quality diagnostic images
• Maintain accurate documentation and complete exam information in EPIC
• Communicate effectively with radiologists, nurses, providers, and other members of the healthcare team
• Prioritize patient comfort, privacy, safety, and exceptional service
• Follow infection prevention, magnetic-field safety, and departmental procedures
