Endoscopy Registered Nurse Requirements

• Active Arkansas Registered Nurse license or Compact Registered Nurse license
• At least 2 years of recent Endoscopy nursing experience
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Ability to participate in the rotating call schedule
• Travel assignment eligibility: candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the worksite

Endoscopy RN Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures.
• Prepare patients, equipment, and procedure areas before scheduled cases.
• Monitor patients throughout procedures and recovery while recognizing and responding to changes in condition.
• Administer medications and support procedural sedation in accordance with established protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary procedural team to promote efficient, high-quality care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow infection prevention and patient safety standards.
• Provide Interventional Radiology nursing coverage as needed.
• Participate in scheduled call shifts and respond appropriately to urgent procedural needs.
