Travel CT Technologist Job Details

• Location: Fresno, California
• Healthcare Setting: Hospital outpatient imaging
• Assignment Type: Travel CT technologist contract
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,440–$2,620
• Schedule: Day shift, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
• Shift Duration: 8-hour days
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Start Date: October 25, 2026
• Assignment End Date: January 16, 2027
• Duration: Approximately 12 weeks

CT Technologist Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist
• Current California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) certification
• ARRT(R)(CT) certification
• Venipuncture certification
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Ability to work on-site in a hospital outpatient imaging environment

CT Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform CT examinations according to established protocols and diagnostic imaging safety standards
• Prepare patients for CT procedures, explain examinations, and promote comfort and cooperation
• Administer contrast media and perform venipuncture within established scope of practice
• Operate and maintain CT imaging equipment while monitoring image quality
• Review patient histories and screen for contraindications before imaging procedures
• Accurately document procedures and collaborate with radiologists and the broader healthcare team
• Follow radiation safety, infection prevention, and patient privacy standards
