Job description
Join us for an engaging travel healthcare contract where you'll work on a Med/Surg unit, handling a variety of medical diagnoses including UTIs, pleural effusions, AMS, dehydration, sepsis, pneumonia, COPD, and cellulitis. This 17-week assignment features 12-hour night shifts, providing a solid rhythm for those who prefer overnight hours. The unit accommodates 24 beds and typically maintains nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:4 or 1:5, including total cares, with medication titration limited to heparin. Expect to utilize Philips cardiac monitors but no trachs or vents. This role offers a chance to experience a vibrant California city, with plenty to explore in your free time.
