Shift Details:

• 12-Hours Shift

• Days, Nights, Weekends and Holidays

• Minimum of 2 shifts per week or as needed

Nursing Specialty:Labor and Delivery - Post Partum RN

RN Duties & Responsibilities:

• RNs will be assessing and monitoring maternal and newborn health, performing physical assessments, monitoring vital signs, administering medications and treatments, managing pain, and identifying and responding to changes in patient condition.

• RNs will provide comprehensive nursing care for antepartum/postpartum mothers and healthy newborns, supporting family bonding, breastfeeding, and recovery after delivery.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current, valid, and unrestricted CA RN license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.

• Minimum of one (1) year recent Labor and Delivery-Post Partum nursing experience in maternal and newborn health specializing in post-partum care for mothers and babies after deliveries in a community-based acute care hospital.

• AHA BLS, PALS, NRP Certification

• Fetal Heart Monitoring Certification

• NIHSS Certification,

• MAB or CPI

• LA City Fire and Life Safety Card (must be LA City)

• Must complete the LA County Employee Health Clearance before assignment start date

• Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.

• Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements).
