CT Technologist Travel Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,930–$2,080
• Assignment Type: 13-week CT Technologist travel contract
• Location: Kingwood, West Virginia
• Healthcare Setting: Hospital radiology department
• Start Date: November 2, 2026
• Schedule: 3 shifts per week
• Shift Duration: 12-hour day shifts, approximately 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m.

CT Technologist Job Requirements

• At least 2 years of CT Technologist experience
• Previous travel assignment experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered
• ARRT certification with CT qualification
• Additional ARRT radiography credentials required
• Active West Virginia license or eligible compact license
• Demonstrated ability to perform both CT and general X-ray examinations
• Strong knowledge of radiation safety, diagnostic image quality, and patient care standards
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with radiologists, nurses, and other members of the care team
• Travel assignment eligibility may be subject to applicable distance requirements

CT Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT examinations according to established protocols and provider orders
• Conduct general radiographic examinations while maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and patient comfort
• Prepare patients for procedures, explain examinations, verify relevant information, and address questions professionally
• Operate CT scanners and X-ray equipment safely and effectively
• Apply radiation protection practices for patients, staff, and visitors
• Evaluate images for technical quality and repeat studies when necessary
• Document procedures and patient information accurately in the electronic medical record
• Maintain imaging equipment, exam areas, and supplies in accordance with department standards
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support timely, high-quality diagnostic imaging services
